Accounts Assistant | 3 Partner Firm | Southend-on-Sea

Accounts Assistant responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all client data is up to date while assisting with the preparation of VAT returns.
Field and respond to client enquiries across various portfolios, providing a professional and helpful experience.
Support the wider team with day-to-day administration, including processing supplier payments and payroll support.
Collaborate with senior team members to identify process improvements, contributing to the overall efficiency of the business.
As the successful candidate you will
Have approximately 18 months of experience in a practice environment, ideally operating at a Semi-Senior level or similar.
Be a proactive team player with strong foundational accounting knowledge and the desire to complete AAT Level 3.
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills when managing financial records and reports.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office packages and eager to learn new accounting technologies and digital workflows.
