As an Accounts Manager you will:

Manage a varied portfolio of client assignments, driving the timely and accurate delivery of final financial outputs directly to business owners and senior stakeholders.

Actively lead and manage the end-to-end client onboarding lifecycle, taking full commercial responsibility for scoping, pricing, fee proposals, billing structures, and direct debit integrations.

Deliver technical guidance, review completed accounts and tax preparations, and structure work schedules for a dedicated team of Assistants and Advisors.

Attend strategic client meetings to present financial insights, address complex queries, and assist business owners in making courageous growth decisions.

As the successful candidate you will:

Hold a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA or ACCA) or demonstrate equivalent comprehensive practice-based knowledge and experience.

Possess deep technical knowledge of industry-specific accounting principles and tax regulations affecting owner-managed businesses and charities.

Demonstrate proficient working knowledge of modern cloud accounting ecosystems and platforms used internally or on behalf of clients (such as Xero, Sage, or Dext).

Exhibit strong portfolio management capabilities, with a proven track record of meeting strict statutory submission deadlines while mentoring junior staff.
