Accounts Payable Assistant Derbyshire £26,000–£30,000 Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to join a well-established business that offers variety, stability and the opportunity to develop your finance career? We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a friendly and supportive finance team based in Derbyshire where you will be working in a supportive AP Team reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager. The business is looking for someone with NetSuite experience who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to become an integral part of a growing finance team. The Role As the Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger while supporting other areas of finance as required. Your responsibilities will include: Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching, coding and posting invoices using NetSuiteReconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queriesPreparing and assisting with supplier payment runsBuilding and maintaining strong supplier relationshipsMaintaining accurate financial records and identifying opportunities to improve processesAbout You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Previous experience within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger positionExperience using NetSuiteExcellent attention to detail and strong organisational skillsA proactive and positive attitude with the ability to manage your own workloadStrong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with suppliers and colleaguesThe ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative finance teamWhat's on Offer Salary of £26,000–£30,000Opportunity to join a well-established and successful businessSupportive finance team with opportunities to progress
