We are actively recruiting for a job opportunity with an established accountancy firm based in Spalding, for an Accounts Technician. The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level, so is open within reason. This is a crucial role, and we need someone who can hit the ground running. The role will be preparing year-end accounts, undertaking bookkeeping for a multitude of clients, and also payroll work. Responsibilities: Preparation of year-end accounts for a range of clientsBookkeeping and VAT return preparationSupporting with tax compliance where requiredLiaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queriesEnsuring accuracy, compliance, and deadlines are maintainedAssisting colleagues within the wider accounts team as neededProcess weekly and monthly payrolls, including pension submissions and RTI filings.
