A leading UK-based Acoustic and Design Consultancy is seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their London team, contributing to the delivery of internationally recognised building acoustics projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a consultant with around 4-5 years of experience to specialise in performance space acoustics-including theatres, concert halls, and cultural venues-while developing toward a senior-level position.

Essential Criteria:

*

4-5 years' experience in building acoustics, ideally with a focus on cultural or performing arts environments.

*

Solid understanding of room acoustics, sound insulation, and vibration control.

*

Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, and creative design teams.

*

Skilled in acoustic modelling software such as Odeon, CATT, or EASE.

*

Strong report writing and communication skills.

*

Detail-oriented with a passion for high-performance acoustic design.

Desirable Criteria:

*

Actively working toward chartered status or assuming senior responsibilities.

*

Experience presenting to clients and supporting bid/tender submissions.

*

Background in theatre, live audio, or consultancy for performance venues is highly desirable.

The Role:

You will play a key role in delivering acoustic solutions for some of the most respected cultural and performance venues in the UK and internationally. This includes acoustic modelling, site visits, technical analysis, and collaboration with design and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Designing and reviewing acoustic solutions for performing arts buildings.

*

Working closely with clients, architects, and stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes.

*

Producing detailed technical documentation and acoustic reports.

*

Supporting the acoustic design process from concept through to completion.

*

Attending project meetings and undertaking site inspections as required.

This is a London-based position with occasional travel. The role offers a competitive salary, structured career development, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to be part of projects at the cutting edge of architectural acoustics.
