We're looking for a passionate Acoustic Consultant with 3-6 years' experience to join a friendly, growing consultancy delivering building and environmental acoustics projects across the South West.

You'll work on a diverse mix of schemes - from commercial and residential developments to education and leisure projects.

What You'll Be Doing

*

Deliver building acoustics design: sound insulation, room acoustics, and building services noise

*

Carry out environmental noise assessments in line with BS standards and planning guidance

*

Conduct noise and vibration monitoring, analyse data, and produce clear, confident reports

*

Collaborate with clients, design teams, and local authorities to create practical solutions

*

Support junior colleagues and contribute to bids and proposals

What We're Looking For

*

3-6 years' experience in building and/or environmental acoustics

*

Knowledge of BS4142, BS8233, ProPG, and WHO guidelines

*

Experience with SoundPLAN or CadnaA (advantageous)

*

Strong report writing and communication skills

*

Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, or similar

*

IOA membership (or working towards) preferred

*

A self-motivated team player who enjoys taking ownership and growing their expertise
