Much more than paperwork - this role is about people, purpose, and pride in Harrogate.
You'll be at the heart of their operations, supporting the Town Clerk and Councillors. No two days are the same - whether preparing council meetings, managing diaries, assisting civic events, coordinating allotments or planning application administration, your adaptability will be key.
You will take ownership of the council's digital presence, manage basic bookkeeping and purchase orders - your ability to bring structure and orderwill be invaluable as they grow their operations and services to the community.
As a calm and confident presence, you will be the first point of contact for all public enquiries to the Town Council. Some evening and weekend working will be required to support meetings and events.
