Aerospace Inspector | Ferndown | Up to £20 per hour

As an Aerospace Inspector, you will benefit from:

As an Aerospace Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
Inspect aerospace and defence components against engineering drawings and specifications
Produce First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with EN9102 Rev C
Carry out in-process, final and incoming inspections using a range of measurement tools
Operate and interpret data from an Aberlink Axiom CMM and Keyence optical measurement system
Conduct and support Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations for non-conformances
Liaise confidently with suppliers, customers and internal teams to maintain quality standards
As an Aerospace Inspector, your experience will include:
Proven experience in aerospace , defence , or precision manufacturing
Good knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 and associated industry standards
Experience producing FAIRs to EN9102 Rev C standards
Familiarity with CMMs, ideally Aberlink, and visual/optical inspection systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to quality issues
A formal quality or inspection certification (e.g. ASQ Certified Quality Inspector ) would be an advantage
