Location: Manchester
Penguin Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established environmental consultancy seeking a certified Air Tightness & Acoustic Tester to join their expanding team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work on a wide range of residential and commercial projects, contributing to sustainable building performance across the UK.
The Role
As an Air Tightness & Acoustic Tester, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality testing and compliance services.
Your responsibilities will include:
*
Conducting air tightness testing on domestic and non-domestic buildings in line with ATTMA standards.
*
Performing sound insulation testing to ANC and Building Regulation requirements.
*
Producing accurate, professional reports with clear recommendations.
*
Liaising with clients, contractors, and site teams to provide technical support and ensure project success.
*
Travelling to sites across Manchester and nationwide as required.
Requirements
*
ATTMA Level 2 certification (Domestic & Non-Domestic).
*
ANC Sound Insulation Testing certification.
*
Strong numerical and analytical skills (GCSE/A-Level Maths or equivalent).
*
Full, clean UK driving licence.
*
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
