Salary: £33-40,000

An established architectural practice in Birmingham is seeking a qualified Architect to take on a key project running role within the studio. This position will see you leading a primary project, managing client relationships and coordinating design teams across all RIBA work stages. Reporting to Associates and Directors, you will play an essential role in project delivery, team mentoring and the continued development of long term client relationships.

Requirements:

* RIBA Parts 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent international qualifications

* Current registration with the ARB as an Architect

* Proven experience running projects, ideally post contract stage

* Strong knowledge of RIBA work stages, contract administration and design team co ordination

* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp alongside Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office

* Ability to work autonomously while mentoring and supporting junior team members

Responsibilities:

* Lead the day to day delivery of a primary project, reporting to Associates and Directors

* Manage client liaison, consultant co ordination and chair design team meetings

* Oversee contract administration duties including financial control in collaboration with QS

* Guide and supervise junior staff across design, detailing and documentation

* Manage planning and building control processes and maintain accurate project records

* Monitor project costs against fees and ensure delivery within the agreed scope of service
