Salary: £35-43,000
I am working with a RIBA chartered practice to find a talented Senior Architect with a passion for creative designs to join their team in Dorking. The team works across the Residential, Healthcare and Education sectors and have a keen interest in sustainability and are aiming to be net-zero over the next few years, so would like the Senior Architect to share this goal.
Key Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery and coordination of architectural projects.
* Produce Building Regulations applications, tender documentation and construction drawing packages.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, planning officers, Building Control, consultants and contractors.
* Prepare feasibility studies, Design and Access Statements, planning applications and supporting documentation.
* Develop project specifications using NBS where required.
* Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations and industry standards.
* Carry out site visits, project meetings and technical inspections as required.
* Provide technical and administrative support throughout the lifecycle of each project.
About You
* ARB registered Architect with up to four years' post-registration experience.
* A solid understanding of UK construction methods, detailing and technical design.
* Experience using NBS for specification writing would be beneficial.
* Highly proficient in Autodesk Revit, with good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
* Strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* Well organised, self-motivated and able to manage a varied workload.
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
