Architectural Assistant (Part 1 or Part 2)

Salary: £25-29,000 DOE

A well-established, design-led architectural practice based in Wiltshire is looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Part 1 or Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its collaborative studio. Specialising in bespoke residential and high-end commercial projects, the practice fosters a supportive and creative environment where junior team members can grow professionally. Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting with the preparation of drawings, plans, and presentation materials

* Supporting the design team with concept development and technical detailing

* Helping to prepare planning applications and technical documentation

* Contributing to the production of visual materials, mood boards, and client presentations

* Assisting with project administration, such as schedules and cost estimates

* Participating in site visits and helping with coordination tasks

* Attending internal design meetings and contributing to design workshops

* Researching building regulations, construction methods, and material specifications

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* A relevant architectural qualification (Part 1 or Part 2)

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

* A solid understanding of architectural principles and UK construction methods

* Strong visual communication and presentation skills

* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines

* A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn

* Prior practice experience is essential for Part 2 candidates, though not essential for Part 1 candidates applying
