Architectural Assistant

Location: South Coast, Dorset

Salary: £25-29,000 DOE

A design-led architecture and interiors studio based on the south coast of Dorset is seeking a talented Architectural Assistant (Part 1 or Part 2) to join their growing team. The practice works across a diverse portfolio of Residential, Commercial, Heritage and Interior projects, with a strong focus on contextually responsive, detail-oriented design. The successful candidate will have at least their year out professional experience in a UK-based architectural practice and a genuine interest in both architecture and interior architecture. This is a studio-based role offering the opportunity to be involved in projects from concept through to completion, within a collaborative, design-focused environment.

Daily Duties

* Assisting in the development of concept and technical design packages

* Producing drawings and documentation in Vectorworks- training can be provided

* Preparing visuals, presentations, and client materials

* Supporting planning, tender, and construction stage documentation

* Liaising with consultants and suppliers as required

The Ideal Candidate

* Part 1 or Part 2 qualified, with at least your year out UK-based architectural experience

* Strong design and visual communication skills

* Good understanding of UK planning and building regulations

* Interest in interior architecture and materiality

* Detail-oriented, proactive, and well-organised

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Enthusiastic about working in a small, design-focused team
