Architectural Technician
Location: Central London
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (dependent on experience)
A design-led architectural studio in Central London is looking for a skilled Architectural Technician to join its collaborative and creative team. The practice is renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use sectors. This role offers the chance to work on technically demanding projects from design through to construction within a supportive, design-focused studio environment.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Prepare and coordinate detailed technical drawings, construction packages, and specifications
* Support projects across all RIBA stages, from concept through to completion
* Assist with planning submissions, building control documentation, and tender packages
* Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders
* Ensure technical information complies with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
* Contribute to design development while maintaining high technical accuracy
* Support and mentor junior technicians where applicable
Skills & Experience:
* Recognised qualification in Architectural Technology
* Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods, detailing, and regulations
* Proficiency in Vectorworks, Archicad, AutoCAD
* Experience preparing detailed drawing packages for planning and construction
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Collaborative approach, confident communicator, and proactive problem-solver
* Previous experience within a UK architectural practice is highly desirable
