Architectural Technologist- Student Accommodation Team

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £34-42,000 DOE

A respected and multi-disciplinary architectural practice is looking for a talented Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join its busy Student Accommodation team in Sheffield. With a strong national reputation for delivering large, technically complex buildings across multiple sectors, this is a great opportunity for someone with enthusiasm, precision, and sound technical ability to take the next step in their career. The practice works nationwide, delivering projects across residential, retail, commercial, leisure, healthcare, and student accommodation sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the delivery of student accommodation schemes at various stages, from concept to completion

* Produce high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages using AutoCAD and Revit

* Coordinate with internal architects, engineers, and external consultants

* Ensure designs comply with current UK Building Regulations and client requirements

* Attend site visits and contribute to design and technical meetings

* Maintain clear project documentation and follow project delivery standards

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Several years' experience in a UK architectural practice

* A solid understanding of building regulations, construction detailing, and technical design

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

* A methodical and organised approach to technical delivery

* Strong communication and teamworking skills

* A proactive attitude toward problem-solving and professional development
