Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: 8:00-16:00 or 9:00-17:00

A growing laboratory in Writtle, Chelmsford is looking to recruit a Bulk Laboratory Analyst with around one year of experience to support a consistently high workload. Due to ongoing demand, the business is expanding its laboratory team and offering long-term development opportunities.

Alongside the asbestos bulk laboratory, the company also operates a microbiology lab, creating genuine scope for progression and cross-training for candidates looking to broaden their technical skill set.

The Role

Analysing bulk asbestos samples in line with UKAS procedures

Accurately recording, reviewing, and reporting test results

Ensuring compliance with HSE, UKAS, and internal quality systems

Assisting the wider lab team during busy periods

Requirements

*

Approximately 1 year's experience as a Bulk Laboratory Analyst

*

BOHS P401 (or working towards)

*

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

*

Comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment

*

Able to work standard office hours
