Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience)

A respected asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support ongoing projects across Basildon and the wider South East region.

The Role
*
Conducting Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSG264 guidance
*
Surveying a range of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties across the South East
*
Accurately identifying and assessing asbestos-containing materials
*
Producing clear, detailed, and compliant survey reports
*
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal colleagues
*
Managing site visits and reporting deadlines effectively
*
Ensuring all work is delivered in line with current legislation, HSE guidance, and company quality procedures
Requirements
*
BOHS P402 qualification (or recognised equivalent)
*
Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy
*
Strong working knowledge of asbestos regulations and best practice
*
Ability to organise and manage a field-based workload independently
*
Good communication and report writing skills
*
Full UK driving licence
