SEN Clinical Teaching Assistant - Daily Responsibilities

* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and medical conditions

* Implement therapy or intervention plans created by clinicians such as Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Educational Psychologists

* Support students in developing communication, sensory regulation, and social interaction skills

* Assist with personal care, feeding, or mobility needs when required

* Monitor and track student progress, noting behavioural or emotional changes

* Create and maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment

* Collaborate closely with teachers, clinical teams, SENCOs, and external professionals

* Help prepare and adapt learning materials to suit individual learning styles

* Support the development of life skills, independence, and self-regulation

* Attend daily briefings, EHCP meetings, and professional training sessions as needed

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

* A degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field

* A genuine interest in mental health, child development, or educational needs

* A goal to pursue a career as an Aspiring Clinical or Educational Psychologist

* Empathy, resilience, and strong interpersonal skills
