As a SEMH Teaching Assistant / Aspiring Youth Offending Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. You'll help them access education, regulate their emotions, and remain engaged with their learning journey.

* Supporting students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours in both 1:1 and small group settings

* Helping students develop emotional regulation, resilience, and positive relationships
* Liaising with multidisciplinary teams-social workers, psychologists, and education welfare officers-to ensure comprehensive support
* Creating a safe, structured, and inclusive environment that promotes education, reflection, and growth
What We're Looking For:
* A recent criminology, psychology, or social sciences graduate-or someone with a keen interest in youth justice.
* Compassion, resilience, and a genuine desire to support vulnerable young people
* An interest in long-term careers across youth justice, clinical support, or special education
* Some experience working with young people (formal or informal) is helpful, though full training is provided
* Availability to work full-time in Bedford during term time
