About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious, dedicated, and inspirational leader to join the senior leadership team as an Assistant Headteacher of a local Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or current middle leader ready to take the next step in their career and make a real impact on school improvement and pupil outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school

Lead on teaching and learning, ensuring high-quality provision across all year groups
*
Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, implementing effective strategies for improvement
*
Contribute to staff development, coaching, and performance management
*
Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school culture
*
Work closely with parents, carers, and the wider community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Proven experience of leadership within a primary school setting
*
A strong track record of improving teaching and learning
*
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
*
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
*
Vision, resilience, and a passion for educational excellence
