Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, wealthy families, and offshore structures.
Lead the preparation, submission, and review of annual tax returns for a delegated client base.
Provide high-level advisory services on complex private client issues, including international and cross-border matters.
Act as a key point of contact for HMRC, managing interventions, investigations, and voluntary disclosures.
Identify tax planning opportunities, including inheritance tax planning and offshore trust structuring.
Support senior partners on technical projects such as OMB restructuring, mergers, and successions.
As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager you will:
Oversee the professional development of junior team members through active mentorship and review.
Ensure absolute compliance with evolving tax regulations while navigating complex dispute resolutions.
Contribute to business development initiatives by spotting opportunities to expand service offerings to existing clients.
Leverage the firms international network to solve multi-jurisdictional tax challenges.
Maintain a high level of commercial awareness to provide proactive advice in a dynamic market.
