About the Opportunity

As an Assistant Town Planner you'll play a key role in supporting the London planning team, working on diverse schemes across residential, commercial, mixed-use and strategic land projects. You'll be involved in the planning process from feasibility through to submission and negotiation, gaining valuable experience in both technical work and client engagement.

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and supporting documents

Conducting site appraisals, policy analysis and development research

*

Preparing planning statements, reports and other written material

*

Liaising with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders

*

Supporting senior planners on appeals, due diligence and negotiation strategy

*

Keeping up to date with planning policy and legislative changes

About You

*

Degree in Town Planning, Urban Studies, Geography or a related discipline

*

Some experience within a planning consultancy or local authority (graduate, placement or assistant level)

*

Strong written and verbal communication skills

*

Well organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment

*

A genuine interest in delivering commercially-focused, practical planning advice
