A well-established and growing environmental consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their team in Basingstoke. This is a key strategic hire aimed at strengthening both technical delivery and business development capabilities within the geoenvironmental division.

This role is ideal for a Chartered Scientist (CSci) with a proven track record in delivering complex contaminated land projects and, importantly, the ability to win and develop new business.

The Role

You will take a leading role in managing and delivering geoenvironmental projects while also driving growth across the region. Responsibilities will include:

* Leading and delivering contaminated land and geoenvironmental projects

* Providing technical oversight and mentoring junior staff

* Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact

* Identifying and securing new business opportunities

* Preparing and reviewing technical reports (Phase I/II, risk assessments, remediation strategies)

* Supporting the strategic growth of the team and wider business

About You

* Chartered Scientist (CSci) or working towards chartership

* Strong background in geoenvironmental/contaminated land consultancy

* Demonstrable experience in business development and winning work

* Excellent report writing and project management skills

* Strong commercial awareness and client-facing ability

* Leadership experience or readiness to step into an Associate-level role
