The successful candidate will help drive forward a portfolio of housing-led projects across the southern Home Counties, with a particular focus on greenfield development.

You will play a key role in shaping planning strategy, managing applications, and influencing development outcomes on a range of land and residential projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking to work client-side or step into a more strategic, commercially focused planning role.

* Providing strategic planning advice to support the delivery of housing schemes

* Managing external consultants and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams

* Undertaking site appraisals, feasibility assessments, and planning risk evaluations

* Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and community groups

* Supporting land promotion and allocation strategies within Local Plans

* Contributing to project management, programme delivery, and company growth

Requirements:

* Several years of post-qualification experience within a planning consultancy or client-side environment

* Strong background in housing-led planning projects

* Comfortable working on greenfield development within the southern Home Counties

* MRTPI chartership (or working towards it with significant relevant experience)

* Excellent report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

* A proactive, commercially minded approach and the confidence to manage projects independently
