A Day in the Life in Crisis Mental Health Care:

As a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist working within a Crisis and Home Treatment Team, your role will be vital in delivering high-quality psychological support to adults experiencing acute mental health episodes.

Your day may begin with MDT handovers and planning urgent care pathways. You'll carry out rapid psychological assessments, support crisis de-escalation, and deliver focused therapeutic interventions.
