A specialist school for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs is seeking a Behaviour Therapy Assistant to join their support team. In this role, you will help students make positive choices, develop safe and constructive behaviours, and build emotional resilience.
Key responsibilities:
* Support pupils exhibiting challenging or anti-social behaviours linked to SEMH needs
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement behaviour management and re-engagement strategies
* Provide emotional support to at-risk children, helping them navigate personal and academic challenges
* Build trusting relationships to encourage confidence, resilience, and progress
* Approach all work with empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
