Behaviour Mentor

A welcoming and inclusive school in Earley is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who may face behavioural, emotional, or social challenges and help them re-engage with education.

The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them develop positive behaviour strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build confidence. The successful Behaviour Mentor will become a trusted and consistent role model for pupils who need additional support.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

* Support pupils who display challenging behaviour

* Help students understand and manage behavioural triggers

* Implement behaviour support plans and intervention strategies

* De-escalate situations calmly and effectively

* Establish clear routines, boundaries, and expectations

* Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals

The school is looking for a patient and dedicated Behaviour Mentor who can build positive relationships and maintain a calm, consistent approach. Experience within education, youth work, alternative provisions, care, or mentoring would be highly beneficial.
