Do you have the resilience and empathy needed to support young people with behavioural and emotional needs?
A welcoming SEN and SEMH school in Reading is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to work with students who require additional support with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learning. This is a full-time, long-term role working with pupils who have SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, trauma, and social communication difficulties.

* Salary: £89-£100 per day
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30
* Start Date: ASAP
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support students both in and out of the classroom, helping to manage behaviour, implement positive behaviour strategies, and encourage emotional regulation. You'll build strong, trusting relationships and act as a consistent, calming presence for pupils who need structure and reassurance.
This Behaviour Mentor role is particularly well suited to Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling graduates, or anyone considering a future career in mental health, education, or youth work.
