A specialist SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, and additional learning difficulties. This full-time, long-term role offers valuable experience for individuals aspiring to careers in Psychology, Youth Work, Behaviour Support, or Education.
Key Details
* Role: Behaviour Mentor
* Location: Reading
* Salary: £89-£100 per day
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Start Date: ASAP
* Age Group: Children aged 5 to 11
* Ideal for: Psychology, Criminology, Education graduates or those with behaviour support experience
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting pupils to manage emotions, reduce challenging behaviours, and build positive relationships. You will help implement behaviour strategies, provide consistent mentoring, and support pupils both in and outside the classroom.
This Behaviour Mentor role is an excellent stepping stone into Educational Psychology, Behaviour Analysis, SEN Teaching, or Youth Work.
