A supportive and inclusive SEN school in Reading is looking for a committed Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a full-time basis. This long-term opportunity is ideal for individuals wanting to build experience in behaviour support, youth work, or mental health.
The school supports pupils aged 5-16 with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour strategies and helping students build emotional resilience.
Key Details:
* Role: Behaviour Mentor
* Location: Reading
* Salary: £90-£105 per day
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Start Date: ASAP
* Ideal for: Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Education, or those considering careers in youth justice, teaching, or therapy
Behaviour Mentor responsibilities will include:
* Providing 1:1 mentoring and targeted behavioural interventions
* Supporting students in managing emotions and making positive choices
* Implementing consistent behaviour management strategies
* Assisting teachers in maintaining a structured and supportive classroom
* Acting as a positive role model and trusted adult
This Behaviour Mentor role is perfect for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Youth Workers, Teachers, or Behaviour Specialists. You will gain invaluable experience working closely with experienced SEN professionals in a therapeutic environment.
