A welcoming SEMH school in Reading is looking for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for those seeking experience in education, psychology, or mental health support.
You will work with pupils aged 11 to 18, supporting learning both in the classroom and through targeted interventions.
Key Details:
* Role: Behaviour Teaching Assistant
* Location: Reading
* Salary: £89-£100 per day
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
* Start Date: ASAP
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide consistent 1:1 and small group support, assist with behaviour management strategies, and help pupils develop positive coping and communication skills. You'll work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to create a structured, calm, and supportive learning environment.
