Business Studies Teacher (Key Stage 4 & 5)
A large and forward-thinking secondary school in the Herne Bay area is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Business Studies Teacher to join its dynamic teaching team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to deliver high-quality Business education to students across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
About the Role:
We are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons, inspire learners, and contribute positively to a strong Business department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching GCSE and A-level (or equivalent) Business Studies, ensuring students are well-prepared for exams and future study or employment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
* Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance learning.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Support curriculum development within the department.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school through involvement in events and activities.
About You:
* A relevant degree and strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.
* Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) preferred.
* Experience teaching KS4 and KS5 students is advantageous.
* Able to engage, motivate, and challenge students.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
