Role Profile
Calling all Buyers / Purchasing Administrators in the Warrington are, currently looking for a great new challenge!
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a thriving manufacturing/engineering business in Warrington and play your part within their busy Purchasing team. The company offers a fantastic benefits package and a friendly, supportive working environment.
If you have previous experience in a purchasing or supply chain role and are used to raising Purchase Orders, expediting deliveries and negotiating pricing/terms with suppliers, we would love to hear from you.
What will the role involve?
* Purchasing consumables, MRO items and component parts for a number of manufacturing/engineering sites
* Sourcing suitable suppliers and negotiating prices
* Converting purchase requisitions and raising purchase orders on the system
* Expediting deliveries with suppliers to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full
Working Hours
* Mon to Fri, 08:00 - 17:00, working from the office full time
Remuneration and Benefits
* Salary up to £29,000 depending on experience
* 28 days' holiday PLUS bank holidays
* Very competitive pension (6% Employer Contribution from day 1 of employment)

Ideal skills and experience
* Previous experience in a purchasing or supply chain role
* Exposure to purchasing within a manufacturing / engineering
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment
* Good systems skills and attention to detail
* Confidence to negotiate with suppliers, to improve price and lead times
