We are seeking a Buyer to manage and administer the sourcing of a wide range of products, ensuring all items meet strict quality and accreditation standards. Experience in procuring electrical or electro-mechanical components is essential, with previous exposure to the defence and/or aerospace sectors strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the purchasing of materials and services, including production parts and consumables.
* Negotiate pricing and lead times while maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers.
* Raise, manage, and monitor Purchase Orders with approved vendors, ensuring cost-effective buying in terms of price, service, and quality.
* Source and onboard new suppliers to support business needs and growth.
* Produce and deliver reports for management as required.
* Provide purchasing support to the internal sales team
About You
* Proven experience in buying, procurement, or product management, with effective supply chain and purchasing capabilities.
* Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, supported by entrepreneurial negotiation ability.
* High accuracy, attention to detail and an analytical mindset, alongside strong numeracy and IT skills.
* A working understanding of AS9120 is required.
* Ability to learn quickly with a proactive, flexible approach to delivering results.
* A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical parts procurement is highly advantageous.
