A well established, successful and expanding Northamptonshire based manufacturer of high-end architectural products for prestigious projects seeks an experienced and trained CAD Technician who can produce designs or component CAD drawings for clients, Architects, contractors and Engineers.
BASIC SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000
BENEFITS:
· Monthly and Annual Bonus

· Monday to Friday hours - 8.30am to 5.00pm

LOCATION: Northamptonshire
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Northampton, Daventry, Rugby, Kettering, Lutterworth, Market Harborough, Wellingborough.
JOB DESCRIPTION: CAD Technician - Architectural, Construction, Building Designs
In this interesting and varied CAD Technician role you will be joining a team of Project Managers working from our head office in Northamptonshire.
Every enquiry into the team is different and your expert knowledge on CAD paired with your construction knowledge will enable precise component detailing, specific construction advice and project co-ordination of our unique high-end products.
We will support you when you join us with full product training and an insight to the manufacturing techniques.
Your CAD skills will be fully utilised daily, contributing to the manufacture of bespoke prestigious architectural products for some of the finest building designs across the world.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: CAD Technician - Architectural, Construction, Building Designs
As our CAD Technician, your key responsibilities will be focussed on:
· Producing accurate CAD project and component drawings for client approval and for manufacture
· Working with Project Managers to assist co-ordination of projects from customer order to delivery
· Maintain and tidy our CAD drawing database and standard product library
PERSON SPECIFICATION: CAD Technician - Architectural, Construction, Building Designs
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
· IT literate and be proficient in using AutoCAD
· Willing to learn about our full product portfolio and keen to progress within our growing business
· Ideally have some construction knowledge, specifically masonry and wall construction detailing
