This is a long-term, full-time opportunity with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. You will play a vital role in transforming the lives of children who need additional guidance and structure to achieve their potential.

* Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups within the classroom and during unstructured times.

* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised behaviour support plans and emotional regulation strategies.

* Using de-escalation techniques and consistent routines to manage incidents and reduce disruption.

* Building trusting relationships with pupils, acting as a positive role model and offering emotional and behavioural support throughout the school day.

* Encouraging engagement in education and celebrating small milestones in a pupil's personal or learning journey.

Candidate Requirements:

* Have previous experience supporting children or young people with behavioural challenges, ideally in an education, care, or community setting.

* Are emotionally resilient and able to remain calm and composed during behavioural incidents.

* Can build rapport quickly and maintain a patient and non-judgemental attitude.

* Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS registered to the update service.

What Academics Offers You:
