Job Title: Civil Engineer

This is a great opportunity to join a professional, innovative Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy delivering high-quality commercial, residential and mixed-use developments across London and the South East. They are on the lookout for a driven, capable Civil Engineer to contribute to a growing team working on technically-challenging and ambitious projects. You will be based near the lively, modern district of Stratford, London.

Responsibilities for the role of Civil Engineer include:
* Contribute toward infrastructure and drainage design projects
* Develop SuDS and surface water strategies
* Produce and coordinate drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
* Work collaboratively with structural engineers using BIM processes
* Manage submissions to local authorities
* Mentor junior engineers
Required skills and experience for the role of Civil Engineer include:
* First Degree in Civil Engineering
* Previous experience in a UK-based consultancy or Local Authority setting, in a design role
* Strong drainage and highways design background
* Software proficiency (AutoCAD essential; Revit advantageous)
* Confident stakeholder liaison skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Civil Engineer include:
* A higher qualification in a relevant discipline
* Willingness to actively work toward achieving Chartered Status
* Experience of working on industrial and commercial developments
