Civil Engineering Technician / Graduate Engineer
Location: Liverpool
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Civil Engineering Technician or Graduate Engineer to join our growing Civil Engineering team based in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of exciting projects across the commercial, residential, retail, industrial, education, and leisure sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of infrastructure design solutions, supporting projects from initial concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the design and delivery of external works and infrastructure projects.
* Preparing drainage strategies and detailed drainage designs, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
* Undertaking hard landscaping and pavement design.
* Supporting the development of highways and road infrastructure designs.
* Producing technical drawings and design information using AutoCAD and industry-standard software.
* Providing technical support and advice to clients, contractors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will hold an HND or degree in Civil Engineering and have an interest in developing a career within infrastructure design. Experience or familiarity with the following would be advantageous:
* MicroDrainage / Causeway Flow software.
* Drainage design and SuDS principles.
* Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs).
* Highway and road design.
* DMRB and Specification for Highway Works.
* Highway and drainage Section Agreements (Sections 38, 278 and 104).
