Our client, a 9-partner firm based in brand new offices in Canary Wharf, pride themselves on their culture and really invest in their staff. Specialising in a range of industries, particularly creative and media, their focus is maintaining great relationships with their clients. The firm offer clear progression pathways for employees, offering plenty of responsibility early on and continued mentorship from senior management.

Client Manager responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of clients and working to build that portfolio +ndash; including all elements of workflow, billing and quality control

Supervising a team of juniors/apprentices, allocating resources to new work and prioritising jobs

Managing your team+rsquo;s workflow, billing, and workload

Bookkeeping to trial balance

Completing and submitting VAT returns

Preparing management reports including month end journals and reconciliations

Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

As a Client Manager, you will be/have:

ACA/ACCA qualified or Qualified by Experience

Client facing experience, with experience managing a significant client portfolio

Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

Personal and corporate tax knowledge

Working knowledge of UK VAT, bookkeeping to trial balance, year-end accounts, fixed assets management, period-end adjustments and journals

Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Office and accounting software, experience of Xero, TaxCalc and Sage software is an advantage
