As a Clinical Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both clinical and educational staff. You will work alongside experienced professionals in Hertford to help deliver high-quality teaching and support services to students. Your responsibilities will include facilitating learning, providing assistance with assessments, and offering pastoral support to students with diverse needs.

Salary: £460 - £500 a week

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students with a variety of medical, emotional, and mental health needs, providing individualised care where necessary.

* Assist with delivering therapeutic interventions, in collaboration with healthcare professionals and teaching staff.

* Ensure students receive the appropriate medical and emotional support during school hours.

* Help manage the day-to-day care needs of students, including administering prescribed medications (following appropriate guidelines).

* Work with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans that cater to the specific needs of each student.

* Support students in managing their health and emotional well-being, including developing coping strategies for various challenges.

About You:

* Previous experience in a healthcare or educational support role, ideally in a clinical or SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) setting.

* Knowledge and understanding of medical conditions, mental health challenges, and how they impact learning.

* A caring, empathetic approach to supporting students, with a commitment to their well-being.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, healthcare providers, and families.

* A passion to become a Clinical Teaching Assistant.

* Ability to commute to Hertford.
