We require several Cloud Engineers working on a Hybrid Basis on site in either Gloucester or London 4 days per week. Working for a Global Leader in Information Technology, you will be on site for a High Security Government Department.
What the role offers:
* Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions based on organisational needs
* Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud environments
* Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment
* Ensure security best practices are followed (IAM, network security, encryption, etc.)
* Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to support agile delivery
* Maintain documentation related to infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures
* Evaluate new cloud technologies and make recommendations for improvement
What you need to succeed:
* Experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
* Proficiency with container technologies like Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, etc.)
* Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.)
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
* The successful candidate must hold and maintain a high level of Security Clearance.
