This CMM Programmer role offers a four-day working week, structured core hours, and a stable precision engineering environment.

As a CMM Programmer, you will benefit from:

Four-day working week, Monday to Thursday, 39 hours

Optional overtime on Fridays from 6:30am to 12pm, paid at x1.5

Core hours between 6am and 6pm, with a required start by 8am and finish from 4:30pm

195 hours annual leave plus Bank Holidays, equivalent to 25 days

Christmas shutdown from 22nd December to New Year

Additional shutdown in May, with holiday allocated for this period

Company sick pay after one year of service, paid at four hours per day

One structured pay review per year

A clean, organised, and process-driven precision engineering environment

As a CMM Programmer, your responsibilities will include:

Programming and running Aberlink CMMs, with significant CMM machine time

Conducting first-off, in-process, and final inspections on CNC machined components

Providing clear dimensional feedback to the CNC machining team

Using a range of manual inspection tools to verify tight tolerances

Completing accurate inspection reports and quality documentation

As a CMM Programmer, your experience will include:

Proven experience as a CMM Programmer using Aberlink software

Background in CNC machining or a precision engineering environment

Confident use of manual inspection equipment including micrometers and verniers

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T

A structured, detail-focused, and quality-driven approach to work
