CNC 5 Axis Programmer Setter Operator | Christchurch | £23 per hour

Are you an experienced CNC 5 Axis Programmer Setter Operator or CNC Milling Cell Leader searching for a new opportunity within a high precision environment? This role offers the chance to take ownership of complex machining projects while working with advanced Matsuura technology.

As a CNC 5 Axis Programmer Setter Operator , you will join a forward-thinking machining team where your technical skill, methodical mindset and precision-focused approach will directly influence production quality.

You will work with modern 5 axis , 4 axis and 3 axis machinery while further developing your programming expertise using Mastercam .

As a CNC 5 Axis Programmer Setter Operator, you will benefit from:

As a CNC 5 Axis Programmer Setter Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Programming, setting and operating Matsuura 5 axis machines

Producing precision components to tight tolerances

Optimising tooling paths, machining processes and cycle times

Interpreting complex engineering drawings

Working with other machinists to ensure smooth production flow

As a CNC 5 Axis Programmer Setter Operator, your experience will include:

Previous experience programming, setting and operating Matsuura or similar high-end 5 axis CNC machines

Proficiency using Mastercam (preferred)

Strong understanding of machining principles and tooling optimisation

Ability to work to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment

Confidence producing and modifying complex CNC programs
