CNC Programmer | Ferndown | Up to £22 per hour

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for stability, structure and technically demanding work?

Do you prefer the consistency of days or the flexibility and focus of a night shift pattern?

This opportunity is open to two CNC Programmers , one on days and one on nights, within a precision-led manufacturing environment supplying Aerospace and Defence customers.

This is a full-time, permanent role for a capable CNC Programmer who enjoys full ownership of programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres.

Shift options available:

Day shift : 4.5-day working week- £20ph

Night shift : Monday to Thursday, 4-day working week- £22ph

As a CNC Programmer, you will benefit from:

As a CNC Programmer, your responsibilities will include:

Programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres to engineering drawings

Running twin-spindle machines as part of production requirements

Proving out programmes and making edits to optimise quality and efficiency

Producing components to tight tolerances with consistent self-inspection

Maintaining tooling, offsets, fixtures and machine set-ups

Completing routine machine care and maintaining a clean, safe work area

As a CNC Programmer, your experience will include:

A minimum of 4 years' time-served experience in CNC machining

Proven background as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

Essential experience working with twin-spindle machining centres

Strong CNC programming knowledge, ideally Mitsubishi, with Siemens or Fanuc also considered

Confident drawing interpretation and use of precision measuring equipment

Sliding head experience beneficial, with Citizen M32 knowledge a significant advantage
