CNC Team Leader | Ferndown | £20.50 per hour

Are you an experienced CNC Turner ready to step into a leadership role? This is a permanent opportunity to lead a small, skilled team while staying hands-on with modern CNC machinery, with flexible shift patterns and a choice of four or five day working weeks.

As a CNC Team Leader, you will benefit from:

Permanent role from day one

Choice of day shift (8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 12:30pm Friday) or night shift (4pm to 2am Monday to Thursday)

As a CNC Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

Leading and mentoring a small team of CNC Turners, allocating workloads to meet production targets

Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls

Producing precision components to tight tolerances

Monitoring team output and quality, stepping in to resolve issues as they arise

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical plans

Inspecting components using micrometres, verniers, and other precision measuring tools

As a CNC Team Leader, your experience will include:

Proven experience as a CNC Turner, either as a Setter Operator or Programmer

Previous experience leading, mentoring or supervising a small team, or ready to step up into a leadership role

Confident working with Fanuc controls

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Skilled in using micrometres, verniers, and other measuring tools

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
