CNC Turner| Bournemouth | £35,000 + 25 percent shift allowance
Are you a precision‑driven CNC Turner confident working on Siemens controls and complex turned components? Are you motivated by producing high‑accuracy parts, solving machining challenges and working with advanced multi‑axis turning technology? This CNC Turner role offers long term stability, modern machinery and a supportive engineering environment.
As a CNC Turner, you will benefit from:
- An alternating shift pattern of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm
- Working with modern Siemens‑controlled turning centres
- Autonomy in setting, operating and optimising your machine

As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting and operating Siemens‑controlled CNC lathes, including lights‑out running
- Following machining processes to ensure all components meet specification
- Changing tooling and adjusting offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy
- Escalating machine issues and supporting corrective actions
- Achieving and logging daily output targets
- Self‑inspection of finished parts
As a CNC Turner, your experience will include:
- A metal cutting background
- CNC turning experience on Siemens controls
- Experience with twin spindle, twin turret or multi‑turret turning equipment
- Confident interpretation of engineering drawings
- Ability to complete tooling changes and accurate offset adjustments
- Ideally completion of an engineering apprenticeship and long term experience in a similar turning role
