An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and skilled Construction Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive school within a well-established trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging, practical lessons that inspire students and support their personal and academic development.

The Role

You will deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, specialising in Construction within Design & Technology. The role involves planning and delivering practical, hands-on lessons that develop students' technical skills, confidence, and understanding of construction principles.

You will:

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to a range of abilities

* Inspire and motivate students through practical and vocational learning

* Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively

* Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

* Contribute to curriculum development within Design & Technology

* Support students' personal development, behaviour, and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

* Has experience teaching Construction or Design & Technology (or relevant industry experience)

* Holds QTS (or is willing to work towards it)

* Has strong subject knowledge and practical skills

* Can engage and support students with a range of needs, including SEN or SEMH

* Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills

* Is resilient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education

* Has high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
