Ecologist
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 DOE
Location: Multiple UK Offices (Hybrid Working Available)
Are you an enthusiastic Ecologist looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, is expanding their ecology team and is seeking passionate individuals to support a wide range of exciting infrastructure and environmental projects across the UK.
About the Role
You'll be joining a highly experienced team delivering ecological surveys, assessments, and technical reporting for major public and private sector developments. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on nationally significant schemes while developing your expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
*
Undertake a range of ecological field surveys, including protected species surveys
*
Support the preparation of technical reports (PEA, EcIA, mitigation strategies)
*
Contribute to biodiversity net gain assessments and habitat management plans
*
Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to advise on ecological constraints and opportunities
*
Assist with project delivery from concept through to construction
What We're Looking For
*
Experience in ecological consultancy or a related field
*
Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and ecological survey methodologies
*
Strong written and verbal communication skills
*
Protected species licence(s) desirable but not essential
*
Full UK driving licence
