SEN Cover Supervisors - Special School (Secondary)

Required: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? Do you have the confidence to lead lessons and create a positive, engaging learning environment? Our specialist secondary school in Birmingham is seeking dedicated SEN Cover Supervisors to join our team.
As a SEN Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Lead and supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in our secondary provision
* Support students with a variety of complex needs, including ASD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
* Maintain a calm, structured classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and support assistants
* Manage behaviour positively and consistently in line with the school's policies
We are looking for individuals who are:
* Experienced in working with young people, ideally in an SEN or secondary setting
* Confident in leading a classroom and delivering set work
* Patient, resilient, and committed to inclusive education
* Able to build positive relationships with students
* In possession of an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
