Dental Nurse - Orthodontic Practice
Location: Aligndent Grove House, Northfleet
Vacancy Type: Full time
Aligndent Grove House is a modern, friendly orthodontic practice based in Northfleet, and we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our dedicated team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Dental Nurse or a Trainee Dental Nurse currently enrolled on an accredited dental nursing course who is eager to develop their skills within a specialist orthodontic environment.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday
* One Saturday per month
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Is GDC registered (qualified applicants), or is a Trainee Dental Nurse enrolled on a recognised dental nursing course
* Has orthodontic experience (desirable but not essential)
* Has an understanding of CQC standards, cross-infection control, HTM guidance, safeguarding, and current dental regulations
* Is organised, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team
* Has excellent communication skills and a caring, professional approach to patient care
* Is keen to learn and develop within a specialist orthodontic practice
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting clinicians during orthodontic procedures
* Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
* Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements, infection prevention protocols, and practice policies
* Maintaining accurate clinical records
* Sterilisation and decontamination of instruments
* Supporting patients throughout their orthodontic journey
* Working closely with the clinical and reception teams to deliver an outstanding patient experience
